I
happen to know first hand that Nagaboshi Tomio (whom
you falsely accuse of profiteering) lives on a meager
£30 pounds weekly (approximately \$50 in U.S.
currency). We are talking about someone living way
below the poverty scale who has never taken
more that he needed for his very basic expenses and
has often gone without.
Whatever
you and other members may have contributed was a
voluntary small subscription. There was
never any talk or suggestion in any of the groups of
any contribution other than a voluntary membership
subscription. Nothing suggesting people to contribute
personal property or wealth for the benefit of the
group. A membership fee is usual in
any club. In Mushindo, the amount is voluntary. Would
you accuse your local church of profiteering for
putting out a collection box?
All
contributions went and continue to go back into running
and maintaining the temples and dojos,
publications and other materials needed for teaching
purposes. Not to mention the charities
the MKA contributes to. Our dojos all function on
these small voluntary and freely given contributions,
and we do not reject people who cannot afford
that...as you know from your own experience.
I am
not sure you understand the definition of the word
'Cult'. It is certain that most cult leaders have a
hidden agenda of personal profit. So what is this
man's motive to become a 'cult guru' ? To maintain
himself in Poverty ?
Evidently,
you assessment of a cult is very far from the general
consensus. With your criteria, a visit to your local
movie theater would be 'entering an evil cult'.
And as
for 'profiteering', look at your own conduct
before trying to cast shadows on others. Did you not
benefit from claiming expenses?
